I have a Creative ZEN mp3 player that starts up with a white screen,and it will not go away.All of the sugested fixes from the creative web site have not worked.I have some good music on the player that I can't access.Can you help me with this problem?Thank you.

If you have attempted to update the firmware in the unit (available and suggested at creative) and the problem remained, then the issue is that your screen has most likely gone bad or the board in the unit does not supply proper video anymore.so its either a display or mainboard replacement.Can you play your songs on the player without the display? can you somehow manage to navigate and turn on a song or two and listen, if that works, then its confirmed that the display is most likely faulty and would need to be replaced, rare cases the main board might be faulty.How long of a warranty did you have? if it was 1 year then you are outside of warranty, if you wish to replace the screen yourself, look for a replacement part from www.ebay.com or from sites similar to this one - http://www.thegadgetdr.com/The-Gadget-Doctor-Creative-Zen-Parts-s/7.htmor if you wish you can get in touch with creative and send the unit to them for repair, that is the safest option, might cost you more, compare that to the price of a new player and see if it is worth it, or ask a electronics local repairer.Let me know if you need further assistance.
If you plug the player into the computer can you access the mp3's on the player then? Also how long have you owned the unit? It is possible that there is an internal defect with the unit and it will require repair or replacement. Once I have more information I can assist you further.thank you,lee
