Open the "Impostazioni" app (Settings in Italian), denoted by the three gears icon. Tap on the "Generali" (General) tab (which shares it's icon with the settings app) to open it. Scroll down and open the "Internazionale" (International) menu. Tap on "Lingua" (Language) and select "English" from the menu. Tap the "Fine" (Done) button. Wait for the iPod to load the new language. You will also want to disable the Italian keyboard, which can be accomplished as follows: Open the "Settings" app. Tap on the "General" tab to open it. Scroll down and open the "International" menu. Tap on "Keyboards" and tap the "Edit" button in the upper-right corner. Tap the red minus sign next to the "Italian" item, and then tap the red "Delete" button that appears. Here's how to change languages while the iPod is set to English Open the "Settings" app. Tap on the "General" tab to open it. Scroll down and open the "International" menu. Tap on "Language" and select "English" from the menu. Tap the "Done" button.
